Badge of the Dukhnovic Society

The Russian Cultural and Educational Society named after Alexander V. Dukhnovich was organized in 1924 in Uzhgorod. His task was to promote the education of the broad masses, all Russians beyond the Carpathians. It organized peoples reading rooms, created singing, theater and music circles, libraries, published books and a magazine, contributed to the collection of literary and historical monuments and expanded the idea of the unity of Russian culture.
